Feb 10, 2009
Well, it's been a while, hasn't it?! Sorry about that. Things got crazy and then the holidays hit and time just flew by. Enough excuses, here's the latest from us and happenings around campus.
We are working on our competition routine. It's got a lot of very advanced skills in it and we're progressing nicely. I'm confident we will perform well at all our planned competitions this year. And speaking of competitions, these are our plans for this spring (fingers crossed we can pull it off):
So that's our spring in a nutshell. Not too bad, right?! It's going to be a lot of work, but I'm confident we can make it all happen. Alright, that's enough to digest for now...
OH WAIT... I forgot to mention the other exciting news...
Ithaca College Men's Basketball is ranked #8 in the country!!!!
Yes, it is amazing supporting and cheering on a basketball team that is performing so well this year. They are currently 20-1 and have won 7 straight games. We have games tonight and this Saturday (2/14) at home. (Yes I know, we have a game on Valentine's Day... but what can you do? I didn't make the schedule.) We finish our season at home on Feb 22 against RIT, who handed us our lone loss of the season on a miracle 3-pointer from half court at the buzzer.
So those are the happenings of the IC Bomber cheerleaders. Hope to see you at a game real soon, or perhaps at a competition if we're lucky.

Nov 17, 2008
Cortaca has come and gone, and what a great weekend it was. IC defeated previously undefeated Cortland St 35-13 in the pouring rain. The cheerleaders were there in full force and they were definitely soaked at the end of the day. It was a great experience and I know the girls had fun.
The Cortaca win coupled with St John Fisher losing to Alfred, Ithaca won the Empire 8 conference title outright. This allowed Ithaca to claim the second seed in their NCAA Division III bracket and they will host Curry College on Nov 22, 2008 at Ithaca College's Butterfield Stadium.
In addition to a very busy week and weekend of football, the IC Cheerleaders completed their basketball season tryouts and welcomed four new members to the program. These new additions were just in time for our basketball season home opener, which is Nov 18, 2008 (tomorrow night).
The Bomber men's basketball team is currently 1-0 following a big win at Cortland St in their season opener this last Saturday (ironically the same night as the Cortaca Jug football game).

Oct 27, 2008
Sorry for the long hiatus on my part. It has been a very busy couple of weeks. Here are some of the highlights:
- Oct 11 - Had a very successful cheerleading stunt clinic with special guest instructor Robb Webb
- Oct 12 - Helped travel around local region running private stunt clinics for area high schools
- Oct 18 - Home Football Game... which IC won
- Oct 25 - Home Football Game... which IC won (and we cheered in pouring rain for most of the game)
Check out the pictures from these events or games on our pictures section. Some pictures still need to be posted, but there are some good ones out there to check out already.
That brings us up to current. We have the final home game of the year this coming weekend (Nov 1). This weekend also happens to be Family Weekend at IC, so it will be a busy day for us and hopefully a successful day for the football team (who plays Springfield College at 1:00pm at Butterfield Stadium). |

Hailey turned 4 months old today. She's getting very big and quite active. And of course, I'm still a gushing father, so I have to post pictures and make comments.
This picture is actually from her first ever attempt at eating baby cereal. This is obviously one of the before pictures, because while she didn't make a huge mess, she was definitely a lot messier after the feeding than before. |

I've spent some time updating the content of the site today. I'm trying to find a better solution for dealing with all the pictures we've taken over the years that I just don't have the ability to manage on the site. I will make sure to keep you all posted as I work on this more. Please check back often for updates on my progress. |

Congratulations to our four seniors from basketball season this year. It has been a wonderful ride with the four of you and you will all be missed next year. Best of luck with all your future plans and remember the wonderful times you had as an Ithaca College cheerleader.
I'd also like to mention Ele Clancy-Thompson and Caitlin Greenstein. Both also graduated this year, Ele in December and Caitlin in May with the four seniors displayed at the right. Ele and Caitlin did not cheer for basketball season this year, but they were both very important members of the squad who will be missed very much. Best of luck to both of you as well.

March 26, 2008
As some of you may be aware, on this historic day in my life, my first child was born. This is going to be my perpetual excuse for not keeping this site up to date lately. Forgive me for my laziness, but my beautiful baby girl will take precendence over web site maintenance every time. For those of you that are not aware (and perhaps because I'm just feeling like a proud, gushing new father), here is some information about my baby girl.
